When I went over to my sister's house for my birthday party she had caught this snake for me. This is the smallest gopher snake I've handled. We caught a couple of bluebelly swift lizards for it, but this is a very small snake and it didn't seem at all anxious to try its gape on them. 83 We ended up letting the lizards go. Unless I find a skink or something interesting to feed it I will probably let the snake go pretty soon too -- I've never had much luck with pet gopher snakes. It's often hard to get them to eat. Cute little guy, though.
