Rubble and ruin, this is all the mighty Galian Beast could observe from their surroundings. Needless to say, the temple has seen better days, but now it only serves as a relic of the past.

Surrounding the Galian Beast, sand and stone spread wide as far as the naked eyes could see warmed by the blazing heat from the sun. Once majestic pillars leaned and threatened to topple over while some already lay in rubble across the ground. This did not detour the beast that perceived the rubble as only a minor and insignificant inconvenience.

Being a towering behemoth of pure muscle and raw strength, the Galian Beast effortlessly scaled and climbed to the highest peak among the ruins of the temple. The claws of the beast snag in the grooves of the stone with ease as they reach a peak.

As the Galian Beast steps upon the slabs next to an old decrepit wall, they take a brief moment to observe their surroundings. But they would soon have a view that would be the last thing they would ever see…

With a shine and a bright light, the mighty Galian Beast barely has any time to react before their body is enveloped in a golden flame as their vision fades to black. Unbreathing and unmoving, the beast attempted to struggle, but their limbs refused to move. The sensation of feelings becomes absent as taste, smell, and hearing become mute. As the Galian Beast’s mind eventually fades, they are trapped within a void of limbo between unknown life and unperceived death…

Unknown to the Galian Beast, they had been petrified and reduced to nothing more than a solid stone statue. From the claws on their feet to the horns on their head, every part of the beast’s body was replaced with a smooth cracked stone.

In the end, another relic was added to the ruins. Having a forgotten past and unknown future, it is unclear whether the petrified Galian Beast will remain standing and be admired for the statue they were always meant to be. Or if they are destined to crumble into rubble and be forgotten in time…
