Stripes is a noted leather and denim bar, but the corgi who runs the place relaxed the dress code for the Christmas holidays. The pool table was moved aside to make way for a tree, and a big chair was set up for Santa Claus.
Ned agreed to dress up as Santa for the bar's Christmas holiday, and the beaver insisted that his slave be given an elf costume. Theo accepted, the rat just barely fitting in the outfit.
Still, they make a lovely couple.

you do make me smile... reminds me of a story some friends told us about a friend of theirs who invited them to see her read some of her poetry at an open mike. Turned out to be in a rope club with guys in long coats (quickly stripped off) and their friend on stage topless reading poetry... and they hadn't a clue this was going to happen.
