This creatures is a type of small forest servant. They take the form of wild hares and lure hunters with dogs deeper into the thicket. There they separate them, provoking the hounds to chase them farther and farther. Legend has it that those dogs that chased them to exhaustion later join the pack of the hunting gods as fiercely devoted to their work.

If the dogs manage to catch such a creature, it immediately turns into a human, forever losing touch with the forest.
