"I came here to be alone, yet I was surrounded by kindred Spirits, and they welcomed me like they would an honoured guest. To rest, to quietly observe the unseen beauty that reveals itself when the forest goes to sleep, in the glistening of the sunlight reflecting off the fresh snow, and the footprints of critters long hiding in the thicket again. And though it was not my place to stay forever, their hospitality obliges a parting gift, something to remind myself that no matter how long the winter lasts, the light will return, and there is still beauty in the darkness."
