Big Stretch
This piece is a tribute to my cat and all cats, the little things they do truly captivate me. From their various meows and graceful stretches to their dramatic moments and firm boundaries (often mistaken for arrogance), cats are endlessly intriguing. They can be silly too, just like any of us, reminding us not to take life too seriously. I'm not an expert, but I deeply admire these creatures. There’s so much we can learn from their blend of wisdom and authenticity.
Sometimes, these little moments may seem trivial, but they can carry profound spiritual significance. It’s in these small experiences that we find connection, not just to the beauty around us but to the shared similarities among all living beings. I’m continually amazed to wake up and connect with such a wonderful creature; it serves as a reminder of the remarkable bond we share with one another, as well as with the plants, fungi, and animals that enrich our lives.
Honestly, I just friggin love cats.

Beautiful artwork! ✨I don't really like to perceive animals in such a romanticized way, but I think it gives a more beautiful perception of the world ~
I read some time ago that cats' purring has some kind of therapeutic effect and is good for bones, which may also help cats with their quite lazy lifestyle, as they sleep really a lot. Ah, I wish I could purr too... :')

I agree sooo much with what you said. I absolutely adore cats, they are perfect and they just make so much sense to me. Just yesterday, I saw one of my cats stretch after waking up and I had a moment of wonder at how we both automatically do that. I love how you described the "clear boundaries" of cats, I think this is what makes them so relaxing to be around. You know that they will tell you exactly what they want, so you don't have to make guesses. Beautiful art as always!!
This is really lovely. We acquired a cat about a year ago when someone moved in. I've always liked visiting people who had cats but I've never lived with one before. I was a little worried but she didn't have any problematic behaviors at all and actually turned out to be the gentlest, most affectionate little sweetheart. She latched onto me right away to the extent that her original owner joked that the cat adopted me.
