The soup would be full of meat juice and animal fat, OF COURSE she still gets sick from eating that. Rhea is right: What crooks! Make a proper vegetarian soup!
Also, from the new page, it seems eggs are fine if they're baked into a cake, but not as just a fried egg? Or maybe the cake had no egg in it, I think it's possible to make eggless cake. Or maybe she just doesn't like eggs and being part of a cake is... transformative enough, to be okay.

I assume its like how some people still have a reaction to food that nuts have touched and need food to be made in a nut free zone. So in the same way if you just removed nuts from the frosting of a cake it would still have the nut traces in it the soup had contact traces from meat
It's not just traces, though. Meat leaks a lot of liquid. You can SEE the fat from the meat swimming on the broth (unless maybe it's extremely lean meat). In broth, a lot gets leached out of the meat. Just removing the solid chunks does nothing, there's probably even still small meat strings swimming around in it.
Removing nuts from the frosting of a cake... well, that depends. Is it little crushed pieces of nut that are inside the frosting? Then I'd say it's, again, more than just traces. You're gonna miss a lot of them, and they leached chemicals into the frosting. Have they been simply placed atop the frosting, while they're left whole? THEN it's just traces, which can still be enough if someone is allergic enough.
But I guess I'm being a little pedantic, and it depends on exactly how you define "traces", too.

Why? Did Gaia make all angels allergic to meat and (I assume) other animal products on purpose because she thinks eating them is wrong? She did this even though this puts her creations at risk of malnutrition should they ever find themselves out in the mortal world? That sounds like something a jerk God would do.
