I really like this style! I think if you're going for horror vibes it'll suit just fine.
On that note though I'd say don't be afraid to make it darker. I really love the contrast, but also it feels like it should be a night scene? Idk do let me know if I'm wrong. I'd also say don't be afraid to hit us with the full page panel. I really like a good spooken comic and there's nothing better than having a nice build up just to turn the page and BAM! The source of the terror in all its dark glory over a whole page. That's just kinda a personal preference though ^^; I know stuff like that can take longer.

ah, I see! The idea for this page was night time with the only lightsource being full moon lighting through the windows, illuminating things in limited, stark strips. But I suppose I made it too bright for that to be apparent...or, perhaps an establishing shot that featured the moom would have been helpful in this situation. On the otherhand, clear focus/legibility where things are not intended to be confusing to the reader is also very critical...so it is a tricky balance. I will experiment more!
