Let us not forget the men and women who sacrificed their lives to save those who were part of 9/11. I was only a child when I heard about this happening. But I know that firemen, police, soldiers, and rescue animals saved many people when the towers collapsed and for those who lost their lives honor them and remember them.

I remember the disbelief in my father's voice when he thought it was a movie, until it was clear what we saw was indeed real. A reminder the America was no longer safe from foreign threats.
