Not that Ignition is canon to Manatear himself, but given the transformative nature of the Manatear, would any being ever be able to *permanently* lose a limb, such that no amount of transformation would restore it?

effectively it would require such an intense event that it effectively becomes a part of their identity. So disability exists for example, it's just the ways to get it if you are native is much harder. It's much more common to bring in disabilities of that variety from outside.
