Anthrocon 2024 - Snow Fort by Sandy Schreiber
This winter we didn't get much snow, but the last time we did my daughter wanted to build a snow fort. So I grabbed a couple old plastic storage bins we weren't using and let them be her mold. Together we stuffed and packed snow into the bins until they were good and full and then used them as snow bricks to build a little fort. When we were finished it was big enough to crouch behind, but there was no more snow anywhere near it. We pretended it was a little jail cell we had to escape from.
Even after the rest of the snow melted the fort lingered for almost a month before finally melting away. Thank you to
SandySchreiber for capturing this wonderful bit of fun.
