It would be really cool if any of these Five Night's at Freddys inspired adopts were marked with a credit that they were actually based on individual characters. Because in that case, I'm a bit amused by the note about what not to do with adopt - "Claim this design as made by you", since you yourself used a design as an inspiration.
It's great that you paid attention to the second part of the comment and not the first one, because the comment itself was mainly about the credits, not some note in the description. I never wrote that inspiration is bad, inspiration is great as long as we give it proper credit, especially if it is visible at first glance.
I have no problem with giving credit but the lack of it in the description was meant to serve as giving a choice to the person who purchase the design as "you either see it as fnaf inspired character or you don't, it's your choice how you use the design" and not neccesarily making it THE fnaf design since it's different enough it doesn't have to be seen as one. Not making super obvious for the people outside the fandom was the point here.
At no point it was denied tho, and made it obvious on other social media if someone questioned it.
