Miss Greifsburg
> [NSFW Version] <
“She’s on!” The tiny screech of the purple songbird shouted from across the large open room. Isabell used the remote to turn up the volume coming across the surround sound speakers as the claps on the television echoed in their home.
The circus of gryphons all congregated together in the living room to watch the television together. Many of them continued to carry on in conversation as they stood together.
“Would all of you all shut the fuck up?!” Isabell shouted from across the huge room. Everyone fell silent as they stared at the tiny ruffled gryphoness. Once Isabell was satisfied with the silence, her attention drew back to the massive television hanging on the wall.
Aadhya walked onto the stage on the television, adorned in the most intricate dress they had ever seen on any gryphon. She looked absolutely stunning, powdered in her red coloration with a bright blue dress to offset her feathers. Aadhya took center stage as the words ‘Miss Greifsburg’ appeared at the bottom of the screen. Aadhya began to sing beautifully to the tune of one of the more popular songs at the time, matching note for note with the original singer. The camera panned from judge to audience as they all looked mesmerized by their performance, as they all should be.
In their off-season, many of them had their own side projects. Aadhya was one of them. She toured with a newly found gryphon band, Feathered Bones, and now was representing Greifsburg in the yearly Eurovision contest.
“Godamn. She’s something else,” Isabell commented.
“And I’d say you’re the luckiest gryphoness in the world,” Thyra said with a chuckle. Johnathen chuffed and crossed his arms.
“You mean second luckiest,” Johnathen commented. Thyra laughed and leaned in to nudge his dirty apron.
“Yeah, Yeah that’s what I mean. Cause no one compares to you, sw…”
“Shut the hell up,” Isabell said as she turned the volume up on the surround sound speakers. The performance continued without so much as a sound from the Redtail’s team as they watched one of their own perform on live television. As the spectacle drew to a close, the gryphons clapped their talons.
“Well, we all know what Aadhya is going to do when she retires from gryphball!” Braden began.
- Except by
Rein from their novel!
Aadhya is a beauty and a star, which is only fitting when their creator is the lovely Rein! I actually met them once at Eurofurence, and my main memory is a beaming and excitable face framed by giant gryphon dakimakuras. I also gave them a spade!
Anyway, the idea of drawing a scene from one of their novels was very tempting to me, and so I had to take this opportunity. I loved the idea of playing with a stage-swaying girl, and all the lighting ideas that Rein suggested really drove me onwards. I'm really pleased with how the lighting came out here, and I hope you like it too <3
Enjoy~
