Despite her efforts to claw her way out, she is unable to free herself from the quicksand's grasp and places her hands on the surface to keep herself afloat while she re-evaluates her situation & attempts to look for a new way out.

I know which pic you're talking about—I actually sent that image over to the artist myself while we were discussing the comm details. I specifically requested the BG & the posing to be the same as the one from Sir-Raymond's pic, this was intentional.
The first WIP sketch the artist sent was admittedly a little too close to the reference in some aspects so I requested some changes to try and differentiate it a little bit.

I mean, sure, I could do that, but in the end why does it matter so much?
Sir-Raymond did not create the original posing in the first place and he certainly isn't the owner of the background too. It's silly to even be crediting him for these things in the first place, and even more so considering that this picture and his pic are *not* identical 1:1. Some parts of the background here don't even exactly align with his and both characters don't even have the same body type.
