I guess I have a Malzeno OC now xP, but I didn't go for the final version of them, instead I flipped it and went back in time and snagged the Concept Art version of this bloodsucker!
I made it ugly on purpose, because I kinda sensed it had a more mosquito aura in the earlier versions with it's elongated bloody nose, and pale body. But I went ahead and added a couple of extra disgusting features to make it a bit more unique, such as a see-through veiny underbelly, full of blood and disease; iridescent crimson wings and membrane, and the color scheme of a mosquito!
This is a special kind of Malzeno which has no Qurio around it, as it's fully transformed. Basically the Qurio left it because their job was completed, and it's diet has transformed it's body completely to a blood-only drinker. Since it can't physically suck blood due to anatomical limitations, it swallows the corpses of it's victims and extracts the blood from it's prey inside it's body, and then pukes the dry, lifeless carcass of what's left from them. If the prey is larger than itself, Malquito can pierce with it's sharp nose and leave a wound open to lick/sip blood while attached to it's larger prey, similar to how the Vampire Finch pecks other birds to drink it.
And if that's not disgusting enough, Malquito also spreads a brain disease that only affects herbivores through bite, which turns them into carnivores and make them hunt after other species, spreading the disease even more. And since herbivores can't digest meat, they helplessly die of starvation within a week (Thank you
artherion for this horrifying idea xD).
Luckily this type of Malzeno is super rare, because Hunters just decrease the chances of making it happen with each Qurio they kill :P
This monster still has no name, so I just left it as Malquito because it sounded goofy
Malzeno belongs to Capcom®, Monster Hunter™ Series.

Ohh I think I have read something akin to that a long time ago, but I would love to know more so paste the video below! :)
I am unsure how the herbivores work in the MH universe, and I may be wrong, but if you force a herbi to eat only meat, wouldn't that make it have some degree of deficiencies on the overall diet? Like, fresh raw meat, and only that

You'd probably have to ask the dev team that. As for the video:
