Hello, guys! I brought you a simple guide for Hipolink.
After Boosty disabled PayPal as payment option we found this website which works in similar way and is safe for you and your customers!
Please share, so more people will see this new good method of payment where customers are able to use PayPal and artist to post their YCHs/Commissions/etc and getting paid for them.
I heard more and more people being lost at what to do, since not everyone like EasyStart and unlike Boosty of Hipolink, it doesnt have PayPal payment method, which is VERY! important. PayPal lets customers refund in case of artist appeared to be a scammer and in general people are more used to it, when it comes to any internet purchase.
[UDP: Boosty and Hipolink are owed by the same company, probably PayPal had problems refunding some donations(since its donation service), so I think they decided to make it more official as customer-seller!
Please spread the awareness about this new platform, so more artists will be able to survive!

I tried to pay via hipolink, but the paypal method wants to create a payment agreement with "my.com B.V.", which would authorize them to charge anything. It's like connecting your paypal account to Steam for example. Thats not very trust ensuring. It's not a method that shows you the amount to pay via paypal and you click buy.
Wierd! My com(or something like this? my games, something) is company which owns boosty and hipolink, so you can see a charge from that on your paypal, but i never heard of something like your situation! Your artist probably should`ve contacted the support. I understand how you dont really trust Hipo after that, i wouldnt either x(

"my.com B.V." being authorized means you won't have to go through the process of re-logging in every single time on that device to make payments to the website that uses this company.
I only know this because I used to think the same as you, until I went into 'authorized payments' in my PayPal account and saw that previous food delivery companies I'd used as well as clothing companies like SHEIN and TEMU were all in there.
It's just an easy way for you to make purchases without adding emails, passwords and more instead it processes immediately for a faster and smoother transaction.

I had something similar happen yesterday where it set up Automatic Payments of the same amount for the art I bought from someone on my Paypal with that company, my.com B.V. The artist got the payment as promised, but I had to go into Paypal and cancel the Automatic Payments. I didn't get a warning or some agreement confirmation or anything. I only commissioned the person in question who was doing $25 headshots after an artist I had previously commissioned and have followed for a while vouched for that person and said they used Hipolink before and it was fine and found similar posts to this tutorial that made it seem better. Brought up my concerns to both of them after committing payment for the art, said they hadn't seen that happen before, and were trying to assure me it wasn't a scam or they weren't trying to screw me over. I don't think they were, but I don't trust the site and won't use it again if an artist does. Doesn't feel good.
Thank you for making this, Trying to get the other artists I support on here, they are waiting for boosty to come back for Paypal, but it doesn't seem like it will, I only have Paypal since family members send me some, and I use to to help out artists or just buy games, but hopefully we can all help each other out still! <3
А, окей. Так, создал. Но при попытке что-то у меня купить высвечивается только карта PФ. Значит надо создавать paypal? Просто я думал оплата упадёт на сам сайт hipolink, с которого потом на карту и переведутся деньги. Но видимо оплата придёт на paypal, с него на hipolink, и только потом уже на карту?
UPD: Вижу появился paypal при выборе долларов. Значит, всё должно сработать!

Если вам не лень, то да, но я создала по одному продукту для ючей и кмм, меняю цену в зависимости от заказчика, но важно заметить,что один человек не может купить один и тот же продукт, если цена не менялась(я меняю на один рубль,если выходит так что человек заказал халф и спустя неделю ещё халф, а цена не менялась)
Этот способ оплаты не вызывает доверия непосредственно для художника. Так как возможет неоправданный возврат средств со стороны заказчика через систему pay pal и Hipolink не будет на вашей стороне он сразу же сделает возврат, как это было раньше при оплате через pay pal по способу «Оплатить товар или услугу».

Sadly for some people this just doesnt work i dont know why 🤔 i been trying for like 4 days to pay a commission for an artist and it was just impossible. But the weirdest thing is that before trying to pay the comission i made a test by sending minimum amount and it worked but after that it just didnt work anymo
Are you using the same link? Because you cant pay through same link twice. Also they just added new tips option, you can maybe try though that.
And if nothing works, I think your artist should text support, because it seems like rare case(you are the second person so far).
Also if your artist has any artist friends they trust you could try to pay via their friend and then friend would just send money over to them, I did it when one of my friends Hipo was bugged like this

im not tech support, but i know that owner on the company changed and is moving it to Cyprus. Therefore there are legal works and technical works before Hipolink will start workign again, so there wont be any issues in the future. Boosty stayed as russian company and because of that got under sanctions. The only thing we can do is wait for now or use cards.

Adding in for whoever happens along here. Boosty/Hipolink neither offer PayPal for me now and both are refusing to process my payment via cards. I'm hearing cashapp card is a possible workaround, but I don't know the validity of it. I've used both Boosty and Hipolink in the past and they can be finnicky for sure, but this feels different to me.

I didn't mean to pop up here to complain in any way, I also have been trying to use cards on boosty and hipolink all day and have been having processing errors. This discussion here is the most recent news on the situation I've found (I've been looking for solutions for hours x.x) so I just wanted to add my experience here. The Cyprus thing is an interesting bit of news, I hope it returns to functionality soon!
