My Colossal Pony: Meeting their new friends
Celestia giggled as she beheld the city in front of her. How adorable it looked! Why, if she didn't know any better, she could have sworn it was a section of city taken right out from Manehatten. But fun sized of course! Tiny squeaking could be heard from the city down below as the thousands of microbe sized humans lay within the five hundred foot confined walls of the petri dish within. The air rumbled above them as the continental sized head of Celestia lowered towards them, her eyes sparkled with a gentle mirth as her horn ignited with a warm golden glow, much like that of then sun. Down below in the city, a single building was engulfed in a similar glow. It rumbled as it was pulled off of it's foundations and risen into the air. To Celestia, this building was no bigger than a grain of rice. She had to keep herself from bursting out laughing at how cute it looked. But she managed to compose herself and gently tore off the roof and floated out the speck sized humans that she was supposed to meet for negotiations.
"Greetings my little humans. Are we ready to begin?" the solar diarch spoke with a warm and motherly voice, hoping and trying her best not to intimidate them. Though, to be fair, there was only so much she could do, considering she was thousands of feet tall to them. While the human ambassadors timidly answered the monolithic princess. The remaining contingent of guards who were part of the team to make first contact with Earth along side the princesses stepped though. To which a certain pink Alicorn wandered into Celestia's room, looking for her auntie.
Princess Cadence nosed the door to Princess Celestia's room open and stepped inside "Auntie? Have you seen Shining? I was going to ask him if he was interested in having a picnic with me," she said, wandering into the room. She stopped as she came across a rather odd sight. Her auntie was holding her hoof very close to her face and speaking very quietly into it. "Auntie? What are you doing?" Cadence asked, cocking her head to the side in confusion. Celestia's looked over at her, a bright smile on her face "Cadence sweetie, just in time to meet our new friends from Earth,"
"Oh right. I forgot we were making contact today. But weren't you supposed to be meeting the delegate from the human world? Why are you here still?" she asked.
"I actually am in a meeting right now," Celestia answered cheerfully.
Cadence looked confused "But...you're still in your room," she pointed out. Cadence broke off as Celestia thrusted her hoof in her face "Look my dear niece. We did make contact with the humans this morning. But what both of our sides were unaware of was the, er, massive difference in scale between our two worlds. Thus, Luna and I found out that humans are...much smaller than we could have anticipated.
Cadence leaned forward in wonder. There laying on Celestia's soft white hoof was a bunch of tiny specks and an equally tiny building that looked like it came from a snow globe. "My goodness," Cadence breathed "Thay're absolutely ADORABLE!!" she squealed in delight. The princess of love loomed tall above the tiny humans, waving her hoof down to them pleasantly "Hi down there little ones! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and spending time with everyone on your adorable planet!" she said.
A few of the delegates fainted on the spot as the face of the absolutely drop dead gorgeous princess of love's face filled their field of vision.
Celestia chuckled giving Cadance a kiss on the cheek "After I'm done here, why don't you come with us over to the human world and see for yourself. I'm sure the little ones will love to see you as well," she said.
"Of course auntie, I will," Cadence said turning around to leave and get ready. But not before shooting a wink down at tiny city still in the petri dish. Quite a few people were left on the ground after that, their hearts thumping wildly in their chests at the colossal princess of love walked away, her gargantuan hoofsteps shaking their entire world with each step she took.

It's nice to see how safe the humans are in celestia's possession and I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't know as much about Candice others in her role as the Princess of love and the ruler of the city state of the crystal empire comma but i can see the differences ....is seems like it's well done fullstop
I also like the detail of the microscope there, although given celestial isn't using it that makes it clear that she doesn't need it presumably because of her power.
Maybe she should get twilight to invent a macroscope so that the humans can talk to her more easily without having to make use of things like TV's to get around the scale difference. I don't know how a macroscope would work, but the thought popped into my mind.

Well out of all the Alicorns on the show, Cadence is the only parent aside from being a ruler and wife. She's also Twilight's sister in law. So whenever I characterize her, I always write her as far more affectionate and caring to others because her title is the Princess of Love. So you'll bet she'll be especially protective to the humans now that she's found out about them
