Sonic pissed off the wrong librarian... As punishment, he has been cursed to live in a similar position until she feels he has learned his lesson. Sonic has been reluctantly working in a school library in his new female, Rubenesque form, stuck with a wardrobe of frumpy, drab female clothes and weighed down by the new fat of his body. All day he waddles to and fro, creaking the floorboards with his mass, chats with colleagues, organizes bookshelfs, works the desk, and every once in a while scolds loud students. He's earned the name "Grumpy blue blob" from some students. During lunch, he goes to his local fast food place and indulges in a big meal. He always feels shame after, but his new body has given him such a large appetite and intense cravings. He hears students laugh and make jokes about his weight and massive bottom, even sometimes finding insulting drawings left on tables. It reminds him of how badly he treated the librarian who has him stuck here. Once he gets home from a long day of work, he collapses onto the sofa in exhaustion from carrying the extra weight all day. He finds himself watching trashy reality TV and munching on snacks. He finds it hard to socialize because he's not really who he was anymore. Going from a super-fast, heroic, handsome hedgehog to a slow, bumbling, frumpy, fat librarian is a huge change, after all. At first, he had absolutely no interest in fashion or makeup, but after realizing he'd be stuck like this for a while, he said, What the hell? and started learning how to make himself more presentable. Now he gets complimented a lot more, from female and male colleagues alike. The compliments from men make him feel funny, though. He even got catcalled walking home once, which confused him. A few times he has been recognized as Sonic, but he responds by lying, saying he's actually Sonic's sister. He's been avoiding meetings with his old friends, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, etc., because he feels so embarrassed and doesn't know how they'll react. The loneliness has been getting to him though, and he thinks about them more and more.
