Changeling of the Guard: The trials of IDoll Hooves
I have become a fan of a Fimfiction called "Changeling of the Guard" https://www.fimfiction.net/story/17.....g-of-the-guard and even have joined the discussion of it on their Discord channel.
It's fairly lively and we sometimes discuss and postulate on many situations that the lead character Idol Hooves could wind up in.
One of the ones I've been proud of suggesting has taken on a life of it's own.
The story concept is that Idol winds up being exposed to Poison Joke which inflicts upon him the 'joke' of turning one of the most competent and effective guards in Celestia's service into child's plaything.
We have named this plushified form of Idol as IDoll.
The general thread we have all agreed upon with IDoll is that not only does Idol insist that he can do his job in spite of such a handicap, but that his appearance is so endearingly cute that Princess Celestia commissions a toy company to mass-produce reproductions of his push form as merchandise to be sold at the Palace gift shop (Then later in retail outlets), thus immortalizing Idol's moment of shame for all time.
Rooooox https://www.furaffinity.net/user/rooooox/ was gracious enough to do a scene that I had always loved the idea of.
Poor IDoll passionately and logically pleading his case before Celestia (And the other Princesses who are offscreen) as to why he should be permitted to continue working as a guard during the period of time that it will take for the Poison Joke antidote treatment to arrive from Ponyville. In spite of his reasons being rational and reasonable, poor Celestia just can't take his current adorable form seriously.
I suppose him having a Pull-string that forces him to say amusing catch phrases against his will isn't helping his case.
*ZuWHIIIIIP!*
"I BRING JUSTICE FROM ABOVE!" ..."Please stop doing that your grace."
