Thought this might be pretty fun. The stages the character went through.
Top left we got the internal placeholders. These never actually saw the light of day, with the exception of the Nomax placeholder that keeps on being used for the "Thank You" screen.
Then the sketch placeholder was the one for the initial release until I had the time to actually refine the design.
Version 1 was the initial design and then version 2 is the refined one that is being used now.
Wolf was one of the earliest characters who got their character sprite, so Version 1 looks particularly awkward. I still had to feel out what I wanted them to look like, was more guided by impressions from other VNs and VN-like games. I tried to find a balance between my own approach and a somewhat more simplified design, which... fell flat pretty spectacularly tbh.
Version 2 suits him much more and I'm much happier with it.

I really would love to, but at least with the current setup it still feels like every day of my work is too invaluable to use for naff stuff like that. When we get to the point that I can fund a decent amount of outside support I might.
Then it won't be quite so vital anymore if I just goof off for a day or two for something silly.
