Someplace that you won’t be disturbed or bothered for the duration. And of course please don’t operate heavy machinery such as a car while listening to this file. With that out of the way, please relax and prepare to listen to today’s prompt: medieval.
Let’s focus once again on your breathing. The simple action that gives your cells the resources they need to carry out a vast number of chemical reactions to create energy. But as you get more relaxed you don’t need as much energy. So let’s breathe slower as you realize how relaxed you are and breathe in.
And out.
And now slower while you breathe in. Fully filling your lungs and holding that cool air in for just a moment until you
Breathe out. Slowly like a balloon deflating over the course of ten seconds. Feel your chest getting lower as your whole body relaxes more with each breath. You feel a state of calm wash over your body when you exhale. You completely breathe out and feel this sense of tranquility and safety wash over you knowing that you can trust my voice.
Holding yourself down in this happy blissful state. And then you breathe once more. Each breath is easier and more relaxed than the last and you find that you can keep these relaxing breaths going even if you don’t think about it. You don’t need to think at all because everything is so simple in this safe place.
Now, with your body so relaxed I’m going to tie you up a little. You feel safe of course so this doesn’t worry you at all. You wonder why I might be doing this and yet it makes you strangely more calm because you know that I will never do anything to hurt you. You can trust me.
You lay down on a long wooden table. It is hard yet comfortable and you are so relaxed you feel that you could sink right through the board. Slowly and with great care I lift your arms above your head and tie your hands together while the other end of the rope already seems to be attached to something. Your ankles are tied together in a similar fashion. The ropes are tight but that feels good to you. Like they’re holding you together, yet another element convincing you of your utmost safety and security in this place.
I’ll tell you a little something about what you’re tied up to. It’s a special device, similar to the rack. Which can be considered a torture device but I would never do anything like that. Nonono I’d never want to make a cutie like you feel uncomfortable in any way. Couldn’t you tell from the way that you’re tied? I used a special rope that pulls all of the worries and tension out of your body slowly. You already feel so much lighter floating on this table. Every second takes you deeper into this state and much more relaxed. So no, this is not your typical rack where each turn of the wheel makes you stretch higher and higher. No, I’d say this is a kind of opposite. Every turn of the wheel increases the pull of the ropes on you to get all of the tension and bad thoughts out. Yes exactly, everything that you don’t want everything that you don’t need will get pulled away with each turn of the wheel. With every turn you will get that much more relaxed, that much more flexible and happy. This is a happy wheel! With these feelings increasing ten times with each turn.
What do you say we try to turn it? Just a little bit, just to make sure that you’re comfortable with it. You’ll find yourself craving these sensations soon enough. Just a small turn stretching up with your arms ever so slightly as a pulse of relaxation travels down your arms and up your legs through the rest of your body. You ease into your restraints still feeling so comfortable and cozy even on this hard table. Let’s try another one, shall we? A slow turn of the wheel, feeling the ropes pull all of the worries out of you so that you can be so happy here in these moments. I think I may have turned that one a little further, are you still feeling ok? You should know that you are very safe here with me and I’ll never let you get hurt in any way. We can stop whenever you want.
But of course it feels so good you’re practically begging me to continue. So here’s another turn on the wheel ten times as relaxed feeling yourself sink even further into the table so safe and so secure. Another turn. A full body sigh leaving you as you are so relaxed. And as you sigh another turn pushing more air through and taking more worries and thoughts out of you. Your arms held high tightly tied together with your legs pulled low. Holding you together, tighter with each turn focusing your energy into the ropes that bind you while the rest of you sinks lower and lower. Another turn, so relaxed. And another feeling that tightness growing and growing while you are in no danger at all. It’s a loving caress of the rope that keeps you together with each turn taking you into this headspace where you do not need to think you do not need to worry all you need to do is be yourself and feel so so relaxed. Another turn the rope is tight and you are cozy. Stretch up with the rope and down with your legs you love how relaxed you feel. The rope is tight and you get hit with wave after wave of happy energy emanating from the ropes. Another turn, slower, taking you to this place of infinite comforts. The rope is tight so tight nearly straining to hold you together trying to turn just a bit further until

So relaxed. So comfortable. Safe. Happy. Cozy.

Good. Heh. I can’t believe you broke my relaxation machine. You must have been very worried. You don’t need any of those things. You are safe here. No thoughts, no mind, only my words helping you feel happy and secure. Even though the machine has broken, your hands and ankles are still tied. I am pretty good with my knots. Maybe my craftsmanship could use some work. But you don’t need to worry about that. No, you don’t need to worry at all. I do still have an idea. You feel good with your bindings on you, don’t you? What if I had more of that rope around? I think I have quite a bit of it. Would you like to be tied up some more?
No machines this time. I think we can do away with that. Just rope to hold you together and give you this feeling of safety and security. Tight. Like a hug. With just my words you can feel a rope slowly snake across your midsection wrapping around you in an intricate pattern of crisses and crosses up and down and around itself. Artistically and efficiently encircling you with a rope that feels soft and secure to you. Around your chest and over your shoulders. Your arms still above your head but bent at the elbows slowly until they rest behind your head. Very comfortable and secured behind your neck with some more rope. Now adding some length creating angular ties around your hips and thighs, framing your crotch and butt in beautiful braided rope. Pulling you in and keeping you safe reaching down your legs and connecting your whole body together in this network of rope.
You look so good tied up like this. Try moving around a little and feel the ties digging into your skin. It’s a comfortable feeling and it might surprise you a little. You love being wrapped up in these ties, a position that I dictate for you and it is so simple and easy you can’t help but smile to yourself. Maybe you didn’t know how good shibari feels. Or maybe you did.
Either way, you can stay here for as long as you like. Minutes, hours, days, whatever you desire you can keep these ropes for however long that may be. Squirming, tied, happy. Comfortable. No thoughts, no worries, ultimate safety and security. Trust.
Eventually you may feel these ties start to loosen around you and the awareness return to your body. You can wiggle your hands and your feet, the ropes easing around you. Slowly you can move your belly and your butt as the ropes slide and melt away.
Becoming more aware, noticing the world around you. Hearing the sounds, slowly opening your eyes. Letting them adjust. You will wake up on the count of 3.
