Mexican food is so good even death we return once a year to eat it again
Día de muertos (Day of the death) is one of my favorite "crlebrations", even if it can be a little sad, because it's a time when your loved ones that went to the other side return to eat and be with you. And we all have people that we would like to see again, so this is a way to be with them once again
Here Baileyi is showing his own Ofrenda (shrine) proudly and with a cute blep ❤️❤️❤️ I'll share the description I gave
when I commissioned this:
Photo: to show to whom you're dedicating the shrine. Who are you remembering
Candles: to bring light to the souls
Cempasuchil flower: they're supposed to guide the souls from the beyond to the shrine (people often leaves paths made with the petals from the door to the shrine)
Papel picado: paper decoration
Food: the favorite food of your loved ones. In this case:
* Coke
* Tacos al pastor
* Pan de Muerto
Water: because it's a long trip from the beyond to the shrine and you must be thirsty. Also, even of you're dead you still need to drink water apparently
Pan de muerto: it's a delicious bread which it reminds of the death
Sugar skulls: they represents the people we're dedicating the shrine to. They can have the name on top. Also, there's a variation of those skulls made with chocolate.
did an splendid work here. Without a doubt I can assure this is one of my favorite commissions. The amount of work and dedication she put here is just amazing

I can never have enough of all the impressive and amazing artworks from Anabel. Without doubts she did a phenomenal work here, Baileyi turned out freaking spectacular as well as his own shrine, all the decorations and those brilliant colors. I love this piece!!! 🧡🧡🧡
