Oh boy, lot to say about this one... I'll just summarize what I said in the comments of the artist's submission. This is meant to depict the period of her life when she sailed on the North Sea after leaving her home to pursue her destiny. The horizon is tilted to give the picture a sensation of vertigo, the feeling of being tossed by the waves, while Yrsa is perfectly upright and unbothered in the center frame. I think the artist pulled that off beautifully.

Why isn't she concerned at all, while the sailors ferrying her are rushing to save the ship and being thrown into the sea in the raging storm? I'm happy to leave that up to the imagination. There are a lot of different scenarios that could potentially be playing out here. Ultimately, she is a very powerful sorceress, and she is not worried about her own safety.
