In the sea of infinite dimensions, the void resides where a universe once sat.

A pair of twin foxes, sister and brother, committed the ultimate taboo by combining the powers of science and sorcery together as one in an attempt to create the perfect being. An idea so wild and outlandish, were willing to sacrifice themselves to do so. They succeeded.

The spell was overcharged and went haywire, going beyond converting it's two casters into one singular point of energy, it grew and began to break down everything on the world it was being performed on, and beyond that to encompass the entirety of the known physical universe. Anything and everything was converted into energy and pulled into a singular microscopic point, all that energy converted into what seemed like a grain of sand. Everything, including eternity itself.

From the looks of it, infinity is quite finite.

Alas, it seems the finished incantation allowed one of the twins to survive. All the energy of a thriving universe, compacted and contained within a living receptacle. Except all wasn't without cost. For this twin to create the perfect being, all they had to sacrifice was their sibling, everyone they knew and loved, their own world, their entire dimension, and 65% of their own physical body.

The final toll was the realization that rather than creating the perfect creature by sacrificing themselves along with their twin, they had become the very being they sought to create.

And with that, was the burden of knowing and remembering what was and who was in their dimension. The burden of knowing that they were the reason why everything became nothing, why the void resides in where something used to be

Whilst spending what felt like forever drifting through the void, this creature was ejected into a new reality, much like their original world, thriving with magic and technology intertwining and conflicting with one another. And not too long after, they found their alternate selves, a pair of twin foxes named Ayzutho and Nezutho.

After making their acquaintances, this being took the first three letters from one of it's creators' name and combined it with the suffix that brings shame: -ix, as is traditional from their original dimension, given to those who have wronged the world in some way or another.

Ayzix VoidTail, blessed by Perfection itself.

Now the question is, which twin survived to become Ayzix? Did Ayzutho survive and alter his name due to his guilt? Or did Nezutho use her brother's name to honor him, yet to also bring shame to him and herself?

All questions can't remain unanswered forever
