While Cutter was introduced to Reef pretty much immediately, it turns out the ocean is full of interesting characters and societies. Among the biggest is the merwolf community of Poseidon, which Cutter has been invited to by none other than Prince Maku!

With Poseidon being far below the surface, Cutter normally wouldn't be able to travel there- at least not to stay very long. However, Maku's helped him acquire a special charm to breathe underwater. It's not permanent, and as Cutter shows, he's not entirely convinced just yet, but Maku is eager to show the coast-dweller around his home!

Art once again by  Jakkal, this time featuring  Masterofwolves99's Maku! Those in the underwater community probably know him pretty well! Apparently this is the first time that he's been shown with webbed hands, which Jakkal is accustomed to drawing on underwater folk (see Cutter's previous images). Maybe it'll become a more often feature on the mer-wolf too?
