A beautiful spring day with petals dancing on the gentle breeze, Megumi calmly sweeps around the Tsukhi village shrine; ensuring the hallowed ground was ready for her visitors. The delicate sunlight shining down on her and the sacred grounds, Megumi smiled to herself as she thought about what the day had in store for her. A slight chuckle escaped Megumi’s painted lips as she continued to clean; eager to enjoy the lunch and tea she packed for the day. No matter what happened at the shrine, Megumi knew she would be able to handle whatever presented itself; knowing that both the serenity of the shrine and safety of the people would be kept so long as she was there

Ever since Megumi initially ran away from her duty as a Seishin priestess, she has undergone various changes that have helped influence her way of thinking. From learning the art of the blade, having her terminal affliction cured, and speaking with Akiyo; Megumi has become more assured and secure in the path she wished to take in life. While she will continue to defend others with the skills she has honed for years; she will work just as hard to offer those around her the spiritual aid they desire when they visit the shrine. While initially reluctant to become a Seishin priestess, Megumi has since fully accepted her role as a Miko; but only under the stipulation that she continue down a path of her own choosing, as opposed to traveling the same road forged by her grandmother. This acceptance can clearly be seen in how well Megumi takes care of the shrine she watches over and her perfecting of ancient arts that were entrusted to her, as opposed to defying them due to lack of interest. What further emphasizes Megumi’s acceptance is how well she interacts with the visitors to the shine she personal oversees; being able to casually converse with those who visit the shrine and even read and play with the children who come there as well. However, despite how much she is willing to dedicate to her duties as a Seishin priestess, she will willingly defy the restrictions placed on her and take up arms to defend those in need! A warrior at heart and priestess in spirit, Megumi will dedicate her entire skillset to those who depend on her. For now, she will dutifully fulfil her obligations as a priestess and tend to her sacred area and the people who visit her.
