Yes this is totally a reference to the cereal scene from honey I shrunk the kids expect this time it’s a bad ending a half asleep unaware mizu eats yam because yam somehow accidentally shrunk himself and is now trapped in mizus cereal bowl and as mizu puts the spoon in his mouth his lips close up tight yam is now trapped inside mizus maw and then after getting tossed around for awhile mizu sallows yam along with the cereal in one big gulp
