She's such a cutie pie.
I hope we get at least one more season so we can see more of Shikabane, and who knows, we may get to heard her real name.
And i believe we need one more season so we can see Retsuko and Haida walk down the wedding lane together as husband and wife.

To be honest, I think the way it ended for her works as a cry for help about a very real situation that low-income people in Tokyo are facing, so leaving it ambiguous and without closure is a good call to attention

It comes out of their anus, and only when they spray. It's just a Looney Toones joke that the stink cloud comes off Pepe's tail all the time as he walks (because it's funnier when everyone and everything reacts to it).

It's an old cartoon trope. Skunks, incidentally, make very loving pets (if your state allows them, some do not) and unlike de-scented ferrets, which still make your house reek, de-scented skunks can't spray.
