I was commissioned to do this
thought someone here might find it useful?
Dunno why I got commissioned to do this, honestly I find it hard to explain something when I am a self taught artist who has acquired my knowledge through practice and reference use

An explanation at the end explains that not everything is shaped like a wolf and this can be applied for every shape and type of snout.
I used wolves as a base because 1. They are the origin of dog species 2. I couldn't decide on just one species of dog, nor was I going to include many species of dog
Someone asked for canine snouts, I named it dog snout. I think "dog" these days seems to apply to every canine, as many draw their dogs looking like wolves
So yeah, may not be dogs specifically at the beginning but at the end is applied to it
I suck at tutorials anyway and wish I was not commissions for this xD honestly things like this are trivial and should be learned by yourself or something

Haha its a better attempt at a tutorial than I could do xD I tend to have very little to no method to my madness so say, a coloring tut from me would be like "okay, this is a red object, make red.. ..and then alternate the color swatches at random until you get a slightly darker color that's still somewhat red and shade"
@ Canine versus dog:: Yeah, I tend to see that a lot. I guess I'm one of the few that still tries to use the real meanings of words! My biggest pet peeve is when people use 'feral' for a nonanthro character when in fact feral is a mindset more than a body structure.
