Here's a new pic I just finished and hope to color in the future. Mufasa and Sarabi try to have a moment, but Taka has to go and spoil it by mocking his brother. Sarafina's visibly upset with him while Busara sighs in exasperation. Rafiki's the only really happy person here, as he praises the two would-be lovers, while Zazu watches from above as if he was saying, "Here we go again..."

Basically, this pic has all sorts of emotion going on, hence its name. There's even hidden emotion like Taka's jealousy (see him slightly twitching? ;) ). Also, the characters are still adolescent but a little older. Mufasa and Busara's manes are starting to resemble their fully grown ones. I got carried away with this pic. Just when I thought I was finished with just Mufasa and Sarabi (I originally wanted this pic to be an funny, awkward moment between the two), but I decided to add Scar and Sarafina into it to add a little more characterization. I almost didn't put Busara in it, which is the drive to his stand in this picture (he's got that whole "why am I here?" vibe goin'). Shortly after that, I decided to add Zazu since there was still room, and I got lucky to position Rafiki where he is now or else he wouldn't be in it. Finally, to fit in continuity with my fanfic, both Zira and my other character, Zema, are absent since they don't meet until adulthood.
