Captain of the Hate Squad, Agent Hate 1, Cross-Hellfire is a bit obscure in power and personality. He's a bit emotionally stunted. How he became that way is a long story.

As a child he had an abusive father that would always beat him until one day he snapped and killed his father in response. His mother not willing to deal with him anymore sent him to live with his uncle instead. While attending school he saw a foreign student, the son of a diplomat, picking on some other students rather badly. Cross in response beat up the foreign student. The diplomat came looking for Cross, insisting that he'd be arrested for assaulting his son. Commander Jaco, who at the time was just a bounty hunter working for nine of the ten kingdoms of Pangona intervened and asked Cross why he attacked the diplomat's son. He then excused Cross' actions from hearing the reasons and insisted that the diplomat leave. Jaco told Cross that if he could keep out of trouble until he grows up Jaco might have some work for him.

Cross-Hellfire of course isn't his real name, but he joined the Pangonian Bounty Hunters using the alias of Cross-Hellfire. His powers are controlled by his emotions. When he's neutral or calm, which is typical when he's not hunting, he's in his Cross Armor. If he's feeling loving, kind, or protective, which is rare, his armor becomes his Heaven Armor and he can use air, water, and light abilities. If he's feeling angry, hateful, or cruel, which is more likely, his armor becomes the Hell Armor and he can use fire, earth, and shadow abilities.
