Greetings everyone, today I have a third concept art made by one of the newer artists Henzy!
Here is a link to their main artwork page: www.deviantart.com/henzypoo
This scene depicts one of the episodes towards the end of the limited release, where Griggs has captured and arrested one of the bandits who was at the scene of a major skirmish and is pressuring him for answers.
The bandit was a former dock worker for the "Distributions & Logistics" cooperative; however, nearly everyone on the pay-roll was later revealed to be corrupt and participating in a smuggling and embezzlement crime ring.
Griggs believes there might be a connection between the two gang leaders who have been found dead recently ("Grimes" and "Butch"), and given that the suspect has worked for both of them, Griggs knows the suspect likely has the information needed to uncover more information about the criminal underworld he's facing.
Henzy did a fantastic job on this concept art, really capturing the tense mood of the scene. She's been a fantastic artist and will probably be helping me complete many of the concept arts for the eventual limited release in 2023.
The other artists greatly helped with edits, refinements, and recommendations to the picture. Those artists being Seyumei, Dolphy, and Trent.

Definitely though I think we have a good system for creating/editing/reviewing concept arts, so likely all four artists will be involved in much of the concept art as it's developed going forward.
I should have one more concept art (as it's nearly complete) to release, probably a few days after Christmas, but before the new year (perhaps even next week if I'm fortunate). Otherwise, I'm trying to give everyone at least 10 days off for the holidays so they can enjoy time with family and friends.
(Likely January might be a bit slow, since we'll be coming in from a break and all).
As always, let me know what you guys think of the image, what can be used to improve future concept arts, and if there are any areas for possible improvement.
Thanks everyone. Hope you like the concept art!

Not really, the Soldien system is mostly concerned with maintaining law and order as it's first priority; though they have to strike a bit of a balance as Korsun is administrated by the "Coalition", not just the Soldiens, so they have to take some of the Volterran rules in mind as well.
Essentially if Inspector Griggs arrests and prosecutions cause too much of a disruption without any corresponding evidence then he would get in trouble for wasting everyone's time. However, if he has enough evidence that a suspect can be reasonably inferred to be breaking the law then he has a lot of latitude in how he goes about things.
Neither the Soldien or Volterran law system is supposed to be a 1 to 1 model of our modern one though. The Volterran system is much more corporal (much more public punishments) with no prisons, the soldien system does have prisons but they are mostly labor camps, they aren't really for rehabilitation or reform.
