Inner Demons. It ties into my whole, everything with life. Past experiences, trauma, being queer and neurodivergent in a world not made for us, etc.
So to represent that. That's where the power comes from, an Infernal trade of some sorts perhaps. I haven't gone into a lot of depth to work that out yet. But it does make a handy defense against unwilling mind control.
It also crops up when willingly shifting past that 60% vulpine mark. Things can get, chaotic and dangerous. Think Alucard from Hellsing Abridged with even less morals and qualms over things like "allies." Hence why it's a last resort.
