Awsome. I think I can use this. I have been trying to figure how some people do hair, to try and figure how to do fur texturing

Fur texturing is a little similar, only you work in clumps.

It's a big help though, for a guy like me starting out in Photoshop. My character "Muse's" bright, flame red hair is always "Murder" for me to render

Oh wow! Im so glad you posted this. I was just thinking i needed a bit of direction for doing hair. Im just now trying to switch from traditonal to digital art. Its quite different and somewhat confusing for me. This was indeed helpful. But ahm.. This may sound like a dumb question... But what is set to the 40 or 80 or 100% for the pens? I was checking out my sai and theres like 3 different things to set.. >.<

So the pen pressure you had set for the size of the brush I guess for this? Just judging by how the lines are tapered. Hmmmms.

Yes, I always use pressure sensitivity.

But the pen pressure you have linked to the brush size or the opacity or both? ^.^
