I dunno if I've shared this sentiment before but usually human hair on anthro characters kinda bugs me as a design choice, but I actually like it on Cleo.

Debbie better make sure that she acts very mature about Saffy's situation because I have a feeling if Debbie keeps on acting very immature about Saffy's condition that Debbie might accidentally mentally age regress herself into a baby just like what happened to Saffy, lol. Debbie is super cute and immature. Definitely my favorite character in this comic. ^^

I am gonna take a slightly different tack from what I see in the other comments. I know Ms. Sammy said that Saffy broke the Cleo, but I think you can still be the mature adult and at the same time, play with an adorable baby. Case in point, you're playing with the baby(and for this example, let's think of the baby as being in her first years of life, not one of us) and suddenly something changes. Could be a window breaks, could be baby pukes, could be whatever, It doesn't take half a second to switch those gears and respond as a full adult, responsible and mature. I don't see Cleo saying don't play with her, I see her and Jo telling Debbie to be the mature adult and think of her responsibilities to her charge before her own desires, to put someone else first in her mind.

I also see the foreshadowed implicit threat in there, in panel 3, "Please be mature about this"; the unspoken "or else" being "or else if you can't be mature, we'll make you IMmature and raise you right this time." I foresee a Baby Debbie when she fails at her task or takes Saffy with her to the plans she had. (I have seen no advance strips, this is just a possible prediction)

Either that or as said she will worsen Saffy's regression and that will be what gets punished. Either way, I see Debbie being called on the carpet very soon.... Probably on her back with her legs apart but only to get her diaper changed.
