Hunter had heard about this 'contest' before, though he didn't know any of the details surrounding it. As...interesting as it sounded, it wasn't something that he had delved into a lot.
So he was very confused and concerned when he found himself in what seemed to be that very thing.
He let out a groan and started to get up, finding himself in a strange location: he was clearly in some sort of complex, almost like a dungeon or labyrinth if he would hazard a guess. He was surprised to find himself in dressed in some kind of black and red latex outfit, some kind of one piece suit with gloves on his hands and feet. At least it wasn't a full body piece...
With no real idea of where to go, the best thing to him was to just get going and hopefully find a way out of this place. He looked around to try and find anything useful, and on a rack was some kind of shield. It wasn't like an shield he had seen before though; this was some kind of tech shield made of sleek metal and clearly had some kind of technological components to it. Well, it was better than nothing. He picked it up, surprised by the weight of it, and took one last look around before he entered into the empty hallways.
For being some sort of 'game', this place felt too real. The torches that lit the dark stone walls, the exposed floors, the smell of wet earth that filled the place, and the sounds...it was all just too authentic.
He explored the area, trying his best to find his way around, though he started to find rows and rows of cells, metal iron doors attached to each one. Most were open, but some were closed. He steadied himself, holding onto the shield as he started to look through. What he saw was unsettling; most of the cells were empty, but some weren't. He saw a few other figures, dressed in similar latex suits as he wore, and trapped in various forms of bondage: a wolf chained to the wall, an avian chained -upside down-, a weasel strapped to a cot. Those who could see him would moan out, begging for help, but every door the dragon tried denied him entry. The cells were locked, so if he could find the keys, maybe he could do something? For now, as much as he hated to, he had to keep moving.
He then came to an empty cell, the door here was unlocked, but after seeing the others, he was hesitant to enter. It might have been worth exploring, though he really was not sure of the idea. The iron door creaked as he looked inside, but that was when he realized he had activated some kind of trap or alert; indicated by his shield. He cursed under his breath, stepping away from it quickly in case the door would close on him and he started to move away.
As he moved though, he started to hear a new noise echoing in the stone halls; it was something mechanical and heavy, the sound was similar to that of a tank. Hunter stopped and turned around, soon seeing source of the noise. It was a large mechanical beast, looking like a minotaur with tank treads. He had heard about this 'Minotank' before, but seeing it in person didn't do those stories any justice.
This thing was fast too. As soon as it detected the dragon, it charged towards him at impressive speed. Hunter barely had time to react, he started to back up while raising his shield up to defend himself. The Minotank grew closer, raising its arms up to grab him, but as it did, the shield started to crackle with electrical energy before it shot a blast out. It struck the robotic beast, causing it to come to a halt as it let out a garbled sound. Hunter was surprised. “Whoa...okay, did not realize it could do that!” He said, and didn't waste any time and he turned and started to run, heading down a hall and taking a sharp turn in order to try and loose the beast before it could recover.
Navigating this dungeon was starting to become more and more complicated as the dragon tried to move through it. Crossing through one of the hallways, he ended up activating another trap, feeling some kind of latex-coated cable wrap around his ankle. He let out a yell and turned, and thankfully the shield would charge up with energy again and send out a bolt, hitting the floor panel where the trap was, causing it to deactivate. “That was too close...” He thought and he turned and started to head down another hall.
Unbeknownst to him however, that second trap would send a signal to the Minotank, causing it recover and move straight for him; navigating the dungeon's halls with speed and efficiency. In almost no time, the dragon could hear the familiar tank treads nearing him. “Oh crud-!” He cursed quietly again and started to run, heading down another tunnel of cells with the Minotank gaining on him.
Hunter would run, but luck was not with him as he saw the tunnel coming to end at a wall. He growled out, taking a quick look behind him at his pursuer before he moved into an open cell, this one surprisingly having some kind of chair inside.
The Minotank knew it had its newest prisoner, and he moved, chasing the fleeing dragon into the cell. Hunter spun around to face it, holding his shield up. However, this time, the shield would remain inactive. Without a moment's hesitation, the robotic bull reached out and grabbed hold of the shield and yanked it away from the dragon, then shoved him.
The sudden force caused the dragon to stumbled backwards before he landed right onto the padded chair.
The dungeon trap was activated. Before he could react, mechanized straps shot out and started to wrap around him. Two straps went across his chest, more wrapped around his wrists, his ankles and even his paws, pinning him tightly to the chair. Hunter let out a growl and started to struggle, pulling at the restraints that held him down before the chair would soon shove a leather muzzled down over his snout and face, the straps moving around his head and snapping closed around him.
The last thing he could see was the Minotank looking down at him before a blindfold was pulled over his eyes, stealing his vision away.
“Hmmgh!! MM-HMM!” He growled out as he struggled, but the chair held down onto him tightly, refusing to budge at all. He was trapped.
With his vision gone, the last thing he could hear was a heavy metal 'CLANG!' as the door was closed, followed by a simple 'CLICK' as it was locked, sealing him inside the cell.
The Minotank must have been pleased, it's number of prisoners had grown once again. It would turn and leave the dragon, struggling helplessly in the bondage chair, letting out angry groans in his defeat.

So...I've been slightly obsessed with the Labyrinth series that Radasus runs over on their Patreon.
As much as I would have loved to get in on that, sadly it's not really possible. So...instead, I kind of did my own take on the idea, so this is completely "unofficial". While I did do something kinda-sorta like this before, I actually wanted to try and do the sequence comic like they do, and this is the final result. This did take much longer than I would have liked, but...overall I think I am happy with the final result.
And I had to add a small story to this as well, to hopefully add to the whole experience.
This was just done for fun, I don't want to detract from the official Labyrinth that's happening.
