It's a creature long forgotten by all the gods. They were once the guardians of sacred deer herds. They guarded them from humans, predators, and the dangers of nature. Until one of them decided to taste blood and attacked the herd, and the others followed suit. Seeing such cruelty, the gods punished these creatures and made them guard the herd all their lives, against their will. Any arrow fired in the woods that should kill a deer is guaranteed to hit the Target. And as a reminder of the blood spilled - anemones always grow on the body of the Target, so that everyone can recognize this creature. Over the years, the Target's body is covered with so many arrows that they begin to look like its mane. They keep hurting it, until someone pulls them out. But who would dare to approach a beast that was going mad with pain?
