Hol up
I up to now was adoring this comic for its (at least for me) pretty relatable characters.
For some, currently not properly graspable reason in the third panel the second last speech bubble.
That part about no responsibility, positive attention triggered... nah, not in the ptsd or whatnot sense, but provocated me to no end initially.
Something about this being -sPecIaL- to that little/caretaker setup instead of being part of a healthy relationship, for a brief time one partner taking some more care of their special someone furied me.
I wanted to have this verbalised, at the time being, thank you
BabyStar for this catching comic.
I am curious whereto it may stroll to.

I know at some point, there will be matters that need to be addressed in Star's personal life, both at work and with her blood family.
But for now, we have this moment, of these 3. Star and members of her seemingly still growing found family. Them just... being happy, and enjoying their time together.
And I rather like that. I've said somewhere before that while I enjoy the ABDL parts of Shine, what really draws me in is the characters. And I said it in a way that might've come across as both being mutually exclusive. But I think in the long run, much like Martin, Kim, and Star right now, they walk hand and hand. Using the ABDL environment to help learn about these characters, putting them in situations that allow for growth and maturity (irony of it all) through exploring that culture and those in it.
This is nice. This FEELS nice. This story is like a good storm on a day off. Yes, there are moments where the lightning might threaten to knock out the power, but you get to enjoy the roll of the thunder echoing, the sound of the rain hitting everything, a nice little chill in the air if you have your windows open enough. Your mileage may vary, but I love days like that, always find them relaxing.
And that's how I feel about this story. It makes me feel relaxed, it makes me feel OK with my interests and for a moment not obsess about being seen weird or whatever my anxiety likes to throw at me.
So good job, Star. And thank you for continuing this.

I first read this when it only had 142 pages and I fell in love with it ever since, I don't have the same story story as star but I feel like I can get into her story more than any other story out there and I can't wait for more pages and I hope it doesn't end I was Reading this other comic that was very similar made by baby Pandora but sadly that comic got discontinued and then I remembered about shine and it grew so much and I love it please make more
I know this is just a comic, but at least from where I'm at, you do a wonderful job of showing why being little is so compelling. Like, all those adult things may be enjoyable, but the really exciting part is actually getting to have people who care. People who are open about caring. It feels fantastic.
