I hope for the best for you. Please keep us updated. Know we all here in the West have great love for you.
I am no expert or trained military. So this is nothing more than food for thought.
If you pick up a rifle then make sure to learn what zeroing is.
Full auto is for light machine gun suppressive fire and ambushes. In the United States the M16 does not have that function anymore because the Department of Defense found out during Vietnam that marines and soldiers were dumping their entire magazines and hitting nothing. Full auto is just too all over the place. So single shot was chosen as the only firing mode because it allowed boots on the ground to control their handling of the rifle while firing it. Plus no more needlessly wasting ammo.
Thermal optics are all over battlefields now and Russia I bet 100% is using them. You might, while you still have access to the internet, learn what can help you effectively suppress your body heat from their regular troops, recon units, recon drones, kill drones, tanks, APCs and attack helicopters.
Also if you are able to get a physical copy, or maybe even an ebook, I suggest getting Marcus Aurelius' "Meditations." His almost 20 years of his personal and random Stoic notes. He ordered those notes burned after his death, but thankful someone disobeyed him. It has helped so many people for the past 2000 years from slaves, to soldiers, to CEOs, to presidents, to generals, kings, to even the average commoner like us, too. And yes even guerrilla warfare fighters. So I say get that book and read a random page everyday. And I do mean everyday. He spits facts like: "Observe constantly that all things take place by change, and accustom thyself to consider that the nature of the Universe loves nothing so much as to change the things which are, and to make new things like them."
