Since a surprising amount of people've asked in different places outside of Patreon too: I chose not to make alts/nsfw because I just don't like this character/design
To which I point to a sort of disclaimer that every long while I mention: Characters drawn (for Patreon Polls) are not necessarily representative of what I enjoy on an individual or even franchise-basis, but are what the Patrons themselves put forth in submissions and succeed in the polls after RNG

My apologies for asking before, it was just a pleasant surprise seeing him drawn more - all the pieces I've seen from you have NSFW alts so I thought that was a standard for each picture. I know you said you're not a fan of this character or design but I'm happy to see him in any form, this is lovely and he is portrayed well! He was my favorite character back when I played so I'm just happy to see more of him.
Ye it's all good, I just got like 5-10 different questions over the week-ish after the preview (I suspect 'cuz it's rare for me to one-and-done) from all around so I decided better to make a note up front on the main posting.
I mainly do NSFW for most all of 'em 'cuz yeah, I pretty much feel it's the expectation (though never has been an outright rule), but I also usually like stuff enough to come up with 'em and also prefer to get what mileage I can out of a pic since it's not too likely I'd spontaneously do fanart of 'em again considering all the other ideas for other stuff in my brain. But a couple times over the years I also forced alts or NSFW and was unsatisfied with the experience so this was kinda the point where I decided I wasn't gonna actively make myself unhappier with a pic by adding more content instead of moving to a more fun thing sooner.
(Also if I do more stuff on content I'm not a fan of, then I get more requests for that same type of content so I prefer to avoid creating that cycle)
