Another quick doodle, in which the birb discovers he's actually kinda into the wrapping thing anyway. The flowy ribbons kinda go well with his flowy body! I also put a bandana 'round his neck because I've been wanting to try that on a character for a while now 'cause it's pretty cute, and I can think of no one better. I don't know if it'll become a major part of his character, but we'll probably see it from time to time when he's otherwise wearing clothing or accessories.
I haven't 100% decided on ribbons for sure yet, but I figure I can always change it later if I want something cleaner. Maybe some sort of pink leather bird shoes. But it's a good starting point!
Okay sorry, I'll stop with the crummy birb doodles now. But at least you got to see him happier at the end so I hope it was worth it. :P

I may just vary it up between a bunch of different things depending on my mood. As long as his feet are covered up, that's the main idea- no reason he's gotta stick to any one solution I suppose! Stockings are always sexy so I'm definitely not against trying 'em out, heh.
Interesting. Digigrade paws tend to be a curious thing to design shoewear for as most known shoewear looks redundant (especially heels). Recently had a large conversation about this and talons never came up. Wrappings are a great idea, I can't imagine a good reason to hinder the claws ability to grip things (shoes on hands). I imagine it would have to be along the lines of decorative ankle guards.
Add it to the idea pile! x3 I'm making progress good progress- doesn't look like it right now, but that's because I've been working on a secret project for the last little while and won't be able to post anything about it for a bit. But I am still working away at that waitlist- when I'm not doodling birbs, hah!

Well if I have any other suggestions, embroidery on chaps was always good enough method to made them more feminine. For guys just plain ol leather. Maybe extra padding on the knees. For gals some flowering cacti or roses if you want to go with the western look.(especially with the bandana) What flower do you think goes best with the shy guy here. Can’t go wrong with lilies imo.
Oh, no, that's not what I meant. I just have done a few quick scribbles of this guy in a row and don't want to flood people with the same thing over and over so probably won't be doing any more quick scribbles in this particular series. But we'll definitely be seeing more of him in general!
