Aziel was a buck who traveled in silence across the lands before he met his own demise the day he was hunted down by trophy hunters when he was still quite young simply for his unique albino pelt. A rare mutated gene in his chemical makeup that made him a stunning creature to look upon but also an easy target. With one arrow sent through his heart as to not ruin the pelt or damage the head to be used as a prized trophy. Being hung upside down on a tree branch he was gutted to allow his blood to drain from his lifeless body.
Natives to this territory warned the men to never hunt upon the sacred land of Orson or they will never leave it's grounds. They just laughed off such silly ghost stories.
While the two got some rest by the fire to escape the bone chilling wind; not knowing they wouldn't be making it through the night.
Aziel's blood shot eyes opened as a soft mist began to dance around his mutilated body, his dripping blood droplets freeze midair. It was almost like time was reversing itself, An invisible source cut the ropes which were keeping him imprisoned on the tree. With a quick shake of his body he looked over to the men who did this to him. A soft gentle voice danced on the wind.
"They. Do. Not. Leave."
Aziel scrapped his blood covered hoof against the frozen ground just before he charges into the man head on, he could feel his sharp antlers pierce the flesh and bone of his prey slamming him into the trunk of the tree forcing his strong head firmly into the mans gut until the agonizing screams grew silent. With a few steps backwards from the tree he tossed the now lifeless body to the side with no remorse. The shining red eyes watched the final victim who appeared to had pissed his pants as he shook in fear of what was to come.
The two stared at one another for just a moment before Aziel spoke to break the silence.
"Leave this land and be the warning to all that poachers are not welcome here. Now. Leave."
He thrusted his antlers forward to jab at the stumbling human.
Peace accompanied by silence returned to the land as the guardian vanished into the soft mist. A lifeless body was left to be devoured once the creatures of mother earth awakened, to help nurture all walks of life.
As Aziel was making his way through the woods he noticed something he had never seen before, it appeared to be a white mist like figure, very small in stature. A curious nature getting the better of him he headed over to investigate this mysterious creature.
A child? A spirit?
Quite confused at what his eyes were gazing upon, a scared spirit of a young boy laid among the leaves on the forest floor, curled up tight with his arms wrapped around his legs.
The same voice who ordered the demise of those hunters filled Aziel's ears once more.
" Your life was spared for a reason,Aziel. You must help all who are lost in the dark find their way to their light. Some of these lost souls died in tragic ways much like yourself. Guide them, protect them and show them the kindness they couldn't find on earth. Those brought to this realm whom no longer have a chance to return among the living will be your choice where their path may lead."
It took sometime for Aziel to understand what has been told to him but nevertheless he laid down with the scared child, his body was safely around him feeling the child's fear leaving once they snuggled into this bucks soft white fur. The bucks head laid down against the ground while slightly tucked into the young lost spirit.
"You are safe now, you'll never be alone."
