Autumn Harvest (Autumn Shy's OC), a shy and cute pony
Hi there everyone and sorry if this wasn't a drawing that you were expecting too much. I have decided to take a couple of requests to for people who wants to participate in this year's Derpibooru collab.
He is Autumn Harvest, Autumn Shy's OC. I have to admit, this was a bit hard because I didn't have too much references to draw him with my own style. I was also worried that maybe I was unable to catch properly his personality or appearance. I tried to do my best to show him as cute and shy as the OC owner described it to me. Even if it was a simple drawing, it was really fun and interesting to do. It is always amazing to try drawing different stuff, getting out of the comfort zone a little bit, and doing your best every time. I'm also really happy that the OC owner appreciated it a lot :)
I hope you find him also cute and easy to hug as I do n.n

Oh! If I am remembering correctly, you created Goldigeny for a similar collaboration on Derpiboru last year? I so love your dragon OC and have deeply enjoyed writing a story with her in it. I need to get back to doing more to show love to those characters you have, or draw for others, put so much love and time into.

Have you been able to share that voice recording I got of Sweetie Belle / Clare Corlett welcoming Goldigeny to the CMC? I was very happy that I was able to get that for you. Hearing her on the pre-recorded livestream working on it was a lot of fun, too. :)

As for Autumn Harvest, your pure love and dedication to applying unique designs that are new to you is something that always impresses me. You never show fear when it comes to trying something new. Hearing you share that the OCs owner was happy with the end result brings a big smile to my face.

I'm so glad that I, at last, have found myself a path out of the depression I had allowed myself to get into. I share this only because of how I have missed out on so many wonderful works of art by you, Sweetie. Being able to imagine the effort you put into this piece, along with others, fills me with determination. :)

Thank you very much Yosh. I was also missing your nice comments in basically all my submissions and I'll wait patiently for the remaining ones :)
You're right. I created Goldigony to participate for my very first time in the annually Derpibooru's collab. This year I literally worked four times more for the collab since I included my two OCs, Goldigony and Sparkly Emerald, as well as three OCs I drew for OC owners who needed them. It was a really nice experience to help others to participate in the collab and it was also a great challenge since I had a low amount of references to work with. In this particular case it was more complicated because this OC only had one good reference and it was from a completely different art style that I couldn't reach, but I was still able to handle it. The OC owner left me a nice message about me helping others in our last conversation that really cheered me up.
I have shared the audio with a couple of close friends. It was simply amazing. My heart beats 170 times per minute every time I remember it. I really love it crazily and it is kinda "magical" for me.
By the way, if you have loved my dragon OC, you may absolutely love my changeling OC Sparkly Emerald since he has an even more detailed story behind that you may want to know and explore :)

I remember telling my therapist about how you were the first artist who was able to ever get me to feel truly involved in art that I have no prior visual reference for. She was happy I was able to make such a positive connection. She also liked how I was able to share with her how I 'feel' the amount of hard work you put into your posts. The fact you are kind enough to allow me to make up stories for your pictures, despite being 100% blind, is truly something that allows me to think less about all the things I cannot do and more about what I am able to do if given the right resources to bypass my physical eyesight and use my 'Mind's Eye'.

I still feel thankful for when you drew Yosh with the 'Little One's' duck. I still have memories of it and, at times, think I actually did see it with my physical eyes for how well you shared the effort you put into that trade.

Tonight is the night to think of Hearth's Warming. I'm spending time with my brother-in-law and sister in my hometown. My son, Peep, is with his mom for this holiday. I miss having him here, but I am glad that everyone in my family uses masks and have also got our COVID-19 Booster Shots. (The booster really messed me up as I got a head cold that, given my lack of eyesight, caused my sense of balance / equilibrium to guide me into obstacles. However I'd rather hit my head off of things, trip over my son's bicycle, or smash my knees into furniture than ever set myself up to be stuck in a hospital adding to the problem over being a part of the solution.).

I am, unless I get called about a job interview next week, going to be staying in my hometown until The New Year. It feels nice to get away from the stress my ex-wife has caused. I expect that, when I return to renew my job search for 2022, I will feel recharged and ready for any challenge my ex-wife and/or my lack of physical eyesight may try and put before me. :)
