Turns out humans may be a bit sensitive to the topic of glass after 25 years of war. Zala had no clue though and just wanted to show her new friends her glass-blowing hobbie. Though Dawn may be way more triggered than Steve, since her home planet Rhaetia got glassed, she probably knows to better keep her mouth shut, as long as she's wearing Sangheili body parts as accessories around her neck.

It adds so many vitamins to your diet! Those Humans were dead already cant let all that meat go to waste!
And thats one of the reasons post war times are so fun for me with everyone trying to deal with everyone elses likes, issues, and cultures. Beyond just shooting them of course as thats kinda eh.

Oh yeah thats my favorite time period too. As the war is a bit limiting with interactions between the races and post war they need to generally at least make an effort to exist with the occasional raiding party to spice things up. As well as Banished/ONI/Remnant/Innies mooching around to cause trouble.
I don't think humanity will let that one slide that quickly, since they are a bit butthurt. But maybe Zala can strike a deal. She won't complain about Dawn wearing Sangheili body parts as a trophy around her neck and in return they won't complain about Zala making glass art xD

It takes a while to get the joke but I think it makes it even more funny considering it's so subtle, it takes a moment for people to get the joke. Guess humans have a very think skin when it comes to glassing and get easily offended ^^
