The twist is, it's not really that hot but Di (2nd-gen English) and Puz (raised in India) have vastly different spice tolerances.

Sometimes people react differently to unknown spices. I had an Indian dish that other people felt was too hot. But for me, it was spicy, but not ‘hot pepper’ hot. And the definition of mild, medium and hot are subjective, as you have noted. On the rare occasions I eat Taco Bell food, I don’t find their hot salsa to be that hot. And I know of people who like hot food will eat canned peppers that brings tears to their eyes. They claim that is how you tell how good they are.

Actually, whole milk and bread are the best things for too spicy foods. Cold yogurt and ice cream are a close second. At least Puzzle didn’t burn down the flat while cooking. I have a feeling Diamond is going to be avoiding butt sex for a while.😉
