The green light that permeates through a forest is something i love so much, so as a little comfort painting i wanted to try and capture that.
Enjoy.

AHHHHH IT'S BEEN WORTH IT. I was sure nobody would actually notice (especially given how small the picture has to be here on this site) but yet here we are! :D
Originally it actually was my plan to have the background be sharp in them due to where the focal plane sits, but that very much would have been too small with the angle of the glasses. But gosh yeah, glasses and all the weird little effects of them are so fun to play around.

Thank you very much. Yeah i think for furry artist it's a special challange to find that balance one wants out of their characters. More stylized? More realistic? More animalistic? More human? What sort of blend for it all? Hands? Paws? Perhaps hunched over?
i just, especially with Nomax, with characters of others i of course have to stay a bit more on their own vision, but with Nomax i really try to preserve the streamlined elegance ofthe animal counterpart. Sometimes with more, sometimes less success, but yeah that is the thinking behind it at least for may portrayal of characters!
