I'm part Italian but really don't like Italian foods much (can't stand cheese, but will occasonally eat a pizza, or tomato pasta w/ herbs, or garlic bread). My grandmom's half-Italian but uh, did NOT learn how to cook properly so I grew up with plain-everything. Her idea of marinara was tomato paste + water. <_<
