Ruadri is fishing for compliments: by "struggling with" backgrounds, he means "obsessing over," because if he/she didn't, they would not look this good.

I like the ruins there on the left in the distance, showing a hint of something unknown manmade (or furmade?). Backgrounds that invite the viewer to think and view the landscape in new context is good stuffs

Very nice! I think you do quite well with backgrounds.

Incidentally, this reminds me of a place I went hiking once, with the cobbled path alongside the stream and waterfall, with the forest all around.

Aw a wholesome Ru piece! Honestly might have to get something like this one day when I zone in on a sentimental idea ^^ This piece looks absolutely amazing! The detail that you got in the closer background like the moss on the rocks is wickedly spectacular! Then your soft watercolor background and lighting set such a warm atmosphere <3
