A remake of an old, forgotten character that I initially had high hopes for. Hopefully this new take on the character will turn those hopes into reality. (hopefully hoping my hopes will.)
An inkblot-style chuckwalla hailing from Mexico, Chuck is a cartoon star from the 20's, known for his journeys from the rocky lava flows to the big city to steal ingredients to stuff his face with. Despite his age, though, he is not very weary - far from it, in fact. He can still do everything you would expect a 20's inkblot cartoon could do: he can stretch. He can grow and shrink. He can duplicate himself. He can morph. He can get run over by a speeding truck and be back to normal again in no time at all. He can inflate himself on command without any assistance. And if this wasn't enough, he has a signature trick up his sleeve - he can set his tail on fire by striking it against a rock. (When it burns away, he can blow on his thumb and grow a new one.)
He acts as a mentor to Mag, teaching her every tip and trick in the book on how to be a great cartoon comedian. Offstage, he is very calm. He talks with a lot of wit, a lot of charisma, and a dash of sarcasm. Being so old, he knows quite a bit about the world, and how to handle most any problem, so he almost never stresses or gets angry.
