Ardhan, Eko, and I love spending the weekends together. This weekend we had plans to go hiking together, and to find a place to have a nice picnic before turning back. To prepare, they packed a lot of sandwiches. Just one of these sandwiches is too big for me to eat in one sitting! But that's okay, they both get hungrier than I do, so they will likely take whatever I have left over. The spot we found was quite nice, by a lake in the mountains, on a grassy clearing above the beach. The sounds of nature around us provide a nice ambience as we all chow down, and I feel at peace, relaxed and comforted by my two big loves. I just hope I can do a better job of keeping up with their big strides on the way back - they had to carry me since I was too slow on the way in!
